Rui Li 1 is a floating offshore wind development project developed by IX Renewables in Taiwan. The project has an expected capacity of 12 wind turbines (180 MW) and will produce enough green electricity for 205.305 Taiwanese households.

With the rapid development of offshore wind energy in the last decade, numerous offshore wind farms have been built in the Taiwan Strait. Given the limited space for bottom-fixed offshore wind farms, floating wind is expected to become an important next step in Taiwan's energy transition.

The Imagineers were tasked with visualizing this wind farm with the aim of giving investors and interested parties a clear picture of the various aspects of the project. By using Unreal Engine, we created a detailed underwater world, complete with the elements that normally remain hidden below the surface, such as foundations, cables and the ecosystem. This approach makes it possible to show not only the visible above-water components of the wind farm, but also the hidden technical and ecological details. In order to reach an international audience and effectively convey the message worldwide, the video was produced in English, Japanese and Chinese.
