Windplanner becomes EnergyPlanner

The name Windplanner is changing to EnergyPlanner. With this name change, we’re aligning with our broader focus on the development of energy parks.

One platform for the entire energy transition

  • What started as specialized software for visualizing wind farms has evolved into a versatile software solution for the entire energy transition — from solar farms and large-scale battery storage systems to power grids.

  • The name EnergyPlanner reflects both this broader scope and our ambition to offer an integrated platform — from analysis to acceptance. From identifying suitable locations and calculating energy yields to simulating noise and shadow flicker, visualizing scenarios and supporting public participation.

Under the wing of The Imagineers

Since the launch of Windplanner in 2016, the software has been developed and supported by The Imagineers. With this name change, we’ve also decided to position EnergyPlanner more clearly as a brand under the umbrella of The Imagineers.
